Venus is regarded as the planet of luxury and beauty but I prefer to call it a planet of balance , harmony, business and wealth. With wealth may come beauty and luxury as by product . Venus loves independence and connecting with people both on professional and personal level and seeks to gain through long term relationship . It is not workaholic, meticulous and critical as mercury and therefore becomes debilitated in Virgo . It belives in delegating responsibility rather than doing everything by self and therefore can work with large teams . The growth in Venus lies in knowing who is the best fit for a particular work on the other hand mercury loves in execution of the task so both are freindly by nature as one complement the other. Venus loves to negotiate deals and so do mercury but while mercury's nature is a bit transactional that of Venus is of seeking life time value . Mercury loves to live by the moment while Venus has a nature of continous engagement . Venus moves ahead by contacts while mercury moves ahead by skills. Mercury loves to win by argument while Venus wins by dissolving all arguments. So it is the planet of harmony.
Venus loves to work indepently and so chooses business over job where it can apply full creativity and attain self satisfaction it has no charm like mercury in showing skills and competitive edge over co workers and wealth is by product of business . while mercury naturally competes in job The arena of competition of Venus is wealth . The focus on different needs create different mind set and so Venus end up accumulating more wealth than mercury where the focus is more on learning job related skills .
